Q: I am after a good dirty jump rig with very short chainstay, probably single-speed too, but I do not know what to go for yet. Not that I do not know what I want; it is just that I did not come up with anything yet in my mind. NS bikes' Core seems to be alright, but I do not like the chainstay that much. I'd like my bike to have square shape like tubes in the rear. I am not saying this is the case, but the problem with makes such as DMR, NS, and the like is how weak the chainstay does actually look, most particularly, where it meets the seat tube at the rear. I'd also like to take into account the benefit of being able to fit longer forks with more travel when making a decision on what the best buy is, but I'd like to be given more options than just the Core I or Metropolis. I want a tough chainstay, and short, for my new dirty jump/street wise kind of thing I have in mind. Any ideas.
