Q: how can i change the freewheel on my haro bmx bike? does anyone have a good website with a video or something showing me how to swap it?
A: you need a freewheel wrench. it has 4 prongs and a hole at the end, take the wheel off the bike take all the nuts and washers off the drive side and slide the axle through the hole with the prongs facing in so they match up with the indents on the freewheel. put the nut back on just enough to keep the wrench in place and give it a turn. the threads are backwards so it doesn't come off as you ride so just check which way the gear will turn, and follow with the wrench.
