Q: i just bought my son a 47cc pocket bike it came with no manual!! And the second day it is already leaking gas it wont run with the choke off so since he drove it with the choke on could this cause it ti leak? does the choke have to be on or off?
A: No. The carb is plugged up. The choke should only be on to start the bike, just like any other motor. Operation should occur w/o the choke on. The bike probably has a stuck float thats why its leaking. The bike probably has a fouled spark plug from all the raw gas.
