Q: ok so i have been snowboarding for about 2 years, and want to cash in on a new board. Im 16, 145 pounds and 5'9 maybe but should be having a growth spurt. I just got into the parks last year. I have good boots and bindings. Im gonna do a lot of snowboarding this year and want something that's durable and that's good for parks and riding. Maybe $250- $300. I don't know what company i want. My board right now is a nitro phantom that i got as a hammy down. I need to know what size board and suggestions on the board itself. thanks in advance.
A: Kudos on supplying relevant info to the actual question you are asking. First, I would think about buying a new deck from last season, as they will be discounted, and you can get a better board for less. for your weight and park riding i'd be looking at anything from a 151 to a 155 to get you through the next few years. I like the Nitro Wiig, the Lib Tech Skate Banana, but those may be a little high priced depending. I'd also look at: GNU Carbon High Beam K2 Darkstar Capita Stairmaster Nitro T1
