Q: i am going to have ACL reconstruction very soon.....would anyone know how long will it take for me to walk properly after the surgery without crutches?
A: depends on how bad the injury is i suppose. When i ruptured my ACL playing Rugby i was on crutches with physio for about 12 months. and it was about 18 months before i was fully active and running again without any problems however my injury was fairly bad and there was a lot of damage, so i hope you don't have to go through as much as i did. good luck!
