What should a rugby prop do to play at his best?

Q: I am a tight head rugby prop i am 15 and have been playing a while now. i belong to a gym and go about twice/ 3 times a week where i normally spend a couple of hours i also train for my local club 2/3 times a week i play for them and now want to be on the top of my game. so now i am wondering what i can Do to do the right excersize and eat right to play right. please help i really want to be the best i can. thank you :)

A: You asked this question not long ago, the smae answer, eat the correct styles of food, excersise with warm ups and then remember to sool down after training, make sure you listen and learn from your coaches, keep improving and make sure you give it all your effort. Try looking at the proper training sites, rugby magazines for tips, etc, etc. You are very lucky, when i started to learn the joys of being a tight head / loose head prop, there was no established training, just weights, bulk up, and play, stamina and fitness did not really come into it, but we are talking about the mid - late 70's when the game was a lot more violent and safety a lot more lax. Good Luck and enjoy.
