Q: When I turn my pool pump on, air bubbles come out the line for about 5mins, then it seems to work fine. ONLY, when the pool pump is off, I lose about an 1/2 inch of water a day, with the pool pump on, I don't lose any water. I think I may have a suction line leak, can anyone help?
A: sounds like you have air in your line,may have to re-flood the pump and start it up again,you don't want to be sucking air in your line,your motor may burn out.it may be worth it to just have a local pool guy come out and check it, they can tell you in like 2 minutes just from listening to it usually.
