A: Yes, the head weight should be the same, but lead tape is designed to be heavy. I would NOT suggest playing with lead tape because not only is the racquet off-balance, you could develop a serious injury such as tendinitis because of the added weight. In addition, when you remove the lead tape, your swing will be off-balance, because, as stated before, lead tape is Supposed to be heavy. but no. it will not change your racquet's power, only limit yours. hope it helps!
