Q: In a rivalry match btw two clubs, a player whom was angry with his manager because he won't allow him to leave his club during transfer period, moved the ball back to his own defence in an attempt to score. his own captain saw this and tackle him aggresively inside box eighteen by braking his leg. what will you do if you are the referee and how will you continue the game? HELLO. nobody seems to bother about how they will continue the game,if they are the referee.

A: If I'm the ref, I'm going to give the captain a red card and have him sent off. Why? You may ask. Because football is a game of sportsmanship, and even though it's wrong for the player to try and score an own goal out of spite, the captain should show some restraint, and if he intended to tackle him, he should have done so tactfully, NOT in that sloppy manner. On the same note, however, I'd give the other player a yellow, for unprofessionalism (if that's allowed). Hope I helped. :)
