What is a good practice ball to buy for our 6th grade girls volleyball team?

Q: We have 4 girls teams and not a lot of money to spend on new practice balls. They need to be somewhat soft or they complain that they hurt their hands too much. We need about 16 balls. Please recommend brands, where to purchase etc. All information will be appreciated. Thank you

A: In my opinion, the best VBall to use at the 6th grade level is a VolleyLite. It is great for learning the basics with a slighty lighter ball that won't hurt as much for those tender arms when they are just learning. It's a easy transition to regulation balls the next year. We've seen pretty good deals at allvolleyball.com if you buy in groups. The more you buy, the lower the cost. In the amount you want, I think you can get them for $23.95 a piece. I like tachikara, but molten makes a good one, too. Good luck!
