Q: I'm grade 9 and im 176cm (5'9.5 ft) I don't want to and will try not to grow any taller, but dang it I LOVE VOLLEYBALL, does volleyball make you taller? I'm usually front middle, so lots of jumping and blocking/spiking, WILL VOLLEYBALL MAKE ME TALLER? and if you know, what is a way TO STOP GROWING :(
A: Volleyball does not make you taller. Height is not affected by jumping or engaging in sports. It is affected by your genes and nutrition (although don't become anorexic!). However be glad your tall! Your practically model hight! And after all your height is probably on of the contributing factors that makes you so great as a middle.
