Arsenal have finally put an end to their `black` series of nine straight games predictions by sporttips without a win in all tournaments. The Gunners woke up tonight and were able to win a 3-1 London derby with West Ham. Freddie Lungberg`s players played an impersonal first half, allowing a goal in their own goal by Angelo Ogbona in the 38th minute. In the second half, however, the visitors exploded with three goals in nine minutes, the work of Gabriel Martinelli in the 60th, Nicola Pepe in the 66th and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 69th minute, thus taking valuable three points.
The hosts came out with a clean hitter in the face of Mikael Antonio. He was supported by Felipe Anderson from behind, and Robert Snodgrass and Pablo Fornals started on both wings.
For guests in the front positions was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He had the backing of Mesut Ozil, Nicola Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli.
The first opportunity of the match was for Michael Antonio, who received a penalty in the 5th minute, but his shot was over the door.
In the 25th minute, it was back to Bernd Leno`s door. With one shuffle, the ball ended up in Pablo Fornals, who fired the first accurate shot of the match, but he was too weak to bother the German guard.
In the 33rd minute Arsenal organized their first better attack. Aubameyang crosses for Yozil, who is well placed to score, but the ball is too high for him and he fails to hit the head.
An excellent chance for West Ham followed immediately, with Antonio shooting from a small angle and Leno having to intervene decisively.
The home side put themselves ahead 38 minutes into the match. Then, with a corner kick, the corner kicks into the penalty area, and Declan Rice crosses softly to Ogbon, who shoots his head and after a ricochet at Maitland-Niles the ball is in the net for 1-0.
The second part began with the pressure of Arsenal. In the 53rd minute, a poorly cleared ball fell to Lucas Torreira, who fired inaccurately.
In the 55th minute, however, a wrong pass to Granit Jacques in the middle of the pitch allowed West Ham to organize a counterattack, Snodgrass tried a shot and after a ricochet, the ball went dangerously close to the beam.
Two minutes later, Declan Rice launched a real bomb about 30 meters away, but Leno was careful and caught.
In the 60th minute, Arsenal organized their best attack of the match and it evened the score. Torreira passed to the left wing for Cezad Kolasinac, he advanced and centered the ground for speeding Martinelli, who fired a shot into the door for 1-1.
Just six minutes later, the Gunners made a complete turnaround. Nicola Pepe got into the penalty area, finishes his direct guard and with a diagonal shot left no chance for the keeper for 1:2.
In the 69th minute, the visitors scored a third goal. Pepe elegantly found Aubameyang in front of the goalkeeper`s box, and with a shot from the will he struck the door 1:3.
West Ham had a good chance of getting one goal back in the 76th minute when Leno had to intervene after a dangerous shot by Fornals.
In the end, Arsenal congratulated themselves on the victory and came in 9th place in the 22-point standings. West Ham remain 16th with 16 points in their assets.
