Sanches received a key position at Alpine.
French engineer David Sanches left McLaren, where he was one of three technical directors, after three months of work. Previously, David had already worked for the Enstone team, which then competed as Renault, after which he spent nine seasons at Ferrari.
Sanches has become Alpin`s executive technical director, to whom the technical directors for performance (Ciaron Pilbeam), engineering (Joe Burnell) and aerodynamics (David Wheater) will report.
David will begin work today, May 2, and his immediate supervisor will be team leader Bruno Famen.
