In France, criminals stole Christmas gifts for children from a local club. The building of the Belves football club, located in the Dordogne, was robbed a few days ago. The incident was discovered by club volunteers.
In addition to TVs and drinks, the attackers broke into the front door and left with gifts intended for children involved in the club. About 20 young footballers were to receive uniforms and tracksuits paid for by sponsors for Christmas.
We say to the robbers: return the gifts. This really hurts my heart, we were supposed to give gifts to children on Wednesday, and some of them will be left without gifts, " said club president Cornelia Simon on France Bleu Perigord.
