Massimo Taibi believes Andre Onana should consider leaving Man United. I would tell him directly: Andre, you are one of the best goalkeepers in Europe, but in the Premier League you are not playing well enough. Step away from the criticism, do some self-reflection, hit reset and go again. And if nothing changes by June, move on.
I subconsciously think that the United environment is not ideal for him, and when the marriage fails, there is no point in continuing. Sometimes something doesn`t work out in a team, and it`s better to separate, which won`t be a failure.
For me he is a strong goalkeeper who finds himself in a situation where he cannot show his skills because he is not cut out for English football. He only suits the Premier League in terms of his ability to play the ball and his structure of play.
If I were him, I wouldn`t leave Inter, where he was a big deal. He calculated the risk, thinking he would fit in easily at Manchester United, but it backfired.
But even though he did not live up to expectations, he remains a top-class goalkeeper, one of the best in Europe, said former Manchester United goalkeeper Taibi.
