St. Louis traded Cam Fowler and a 2027 fourth-round draft pick to Anaheim. The Ducks received defenseman Jeremy Biakabutuka and a 2027 second-round draft pick in the deal.
33-year-old Fowler already made his debut for the new team in the NHL regular season match predicted by sporttips with Dallas (1:2 OT).
Before that, he played in the league only for the Ducks - from the 2010/11 season (991 matches and 457 points, 96+361, utility minus 129).
The player`s contract with an average salary of $6. 5 million runs until the end of the 2025/26 season. Under the terms of the trade, the Ducks kept $2. 5 million of his cap hit.
Biakabutuka, 22, signed a rookie contract with the Blues as a free agent in 2023. Last season and this season, the player with African roots played a total of 76 matches in the ECHL and 2 in the AHL.
