Oakland and Seattle will open the 2019 season in Japan

Only for the eighth time in history, the regular MLM season will be open outside the United States and Canada. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that in 2019 the first official match will be between Oakland Atletico and Seattle Mariners at the Tokyo Dome in the Japanese capital. This is going to be the fifth case in which the 55-kilometer covered facility will meet the opening match in the Major League.
