Johnson and Sandgren will play for the title in Houston

Defending his title, Steve Johnson, defeated Taylor Fritz 7:5, 6:7 (4), 6:2 at the Houston Clay Tennis Tournament, and in the final he will face his American countryman Tennis Sandgren. Earlier, he beat Croatian Ivo Karlovic and left four hosts in the top four of the tournament.
Johnson, the sixth in the scheme, missed the opportunity to close the match in the second set after losing a breakthrough for the 12th game.
